KSAPT 2025, under the theme Pioneering
New Horizons in Pharmacy and Toxicology, invites change-makers, innovators,
and passionate advocates to join the Health Awareness Competition. It
aims to ignite creativity and combat doping by raising awareness about its
dangers and promoting clean sports and healthy lifestyles. In celebration of Saudi
Arabia hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup, this competition aligns with
the Kingdom's commitment to promoting fair play, clean competition, and the
spirit of sportsmanship on a global stage.
Doping
refers
to the use of prohibited substances or methods by athletes to enhance
performance. These substances, known as performance-enhancing drugs
(PEDs), such as Anabolic steroids, Narcotics and painkillers, etc.
What
is Anti-Doping?
Anti-doping refers to the efforts and measures taken to prevent, detect, and
deter the use of banned substances and methods in sports. World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) play
a critical role in setting global standards and promoting clean sports.
Who
Can Participate?
The competition is open to
individuals or groups worldwide, including:
- Healthcare professionals
(doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc.).
- Athletes, coaches, and sports
organizations.
- Students (Graduate/undergraduate
students of medical, pharmacy, sports science, and related fields).
- Technology and Innovation
Enthusiasts: app developers, AI researchers, and e-sports
enthusiasts.
- Community Advocates and
Educators, parents, teachers, and nonprofit organization
- General public.
Participants may enter as
individuals or teams (maximum team size: 5 members). Employees of the
organizing committee, sponsors, and their immediate family members are not
eligible.
Competition
Scope:
We encourage creative approaches
to raise awareness about doping and its prevention. Submissions can focus on:
- Highlighting the impact of
specific doping drugs and emerging trends.
- Developing unique solutions for
prevention, education, and harm reduction.
- Leveraging technology and
digital platforms to reach wider audiences.
- Promoting innovative recovery
methods and support systems.
- Showcasing the power of art,
music, storytelling, and community engagement in driving change.
Competition
Categories:
Participants may submit entries
in one or more of the following categories:
- Poster Design: Visually compelling
posters conveying anti-doping messages (Size: 18" x 24”; 46 cm x 61
cm).
- Essay Writing:1,000 -1,500 words on related
topics.
- Short Videos/Presentations: 2-5 minutes any format (e.g.,
animation, live-action, documentary, or experimental).
- Social Media Campaigns: Dynamic campaigns for
platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or X.
- Interactive Media: Immersive awareness experiences.
- Community Outreach Programs: Grassroots initiatives
directly impacting communities.
- Original Music or Spoken Word
Pieces: Songs,
poems, or performances.
- Art Installations or Exhibits: Visual art to inspire
action.
Submission
Guidelines:
- Originality: All entries must be
original and created solely by the participant(s). Plagiarism or use of
copyrighted material will result in disqualification.
- Language: Submission can be in Arabic
or English (with Arabic translated version)
- Format: Submissions must adhere
to category-specific guidelines (e.g., standard poster size, video length,
word count for essays).
- Deadline: All entries must be
submitted by 9th
September, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- Platform: Entries must be submitted
through the official competition platform (https://ksapt.org/)
Judging
Criteria:
Entries will be evaluated based
on:
- Innovation and Originality: Fresh and impactful
approaches to raising awareness.
- Effectiveness and Engagement: Ability to capture
attention, educate, and inspire action.
- Accuracy of Information: Correct and factual
representation of anti-doping themes.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Compliance with category-specific
requirements.
The judging panel’s decision is
final and binding. No appeals or disputes will be entertained.
Conference Registration:
· Accepted applicants must register for Conference and Global Health Exhibit Attendance (and pay the applicable fees.)
Intellectual
Property Rights:
- Participants retain ownership
of their submissions but grant the KSAPT 2025 organizers a non-exclusive,
royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display entries for
promotional and educational purposes.
- Participants confirm they have
obtained all necessary permissions for any third-party content included in
their submissions.
Disqualification:
KSAPT 2025 organizers reserve the
right to disqualify entries that:
- Violate competition rules or
guidelines.
- Contain offensive,
inappropriate, or plagiarized content.
- Are submitted after the
deadline.
Disqualified participants will
not be eligible for prizes or recognition.
Privacy
and Data Protection:
- Personal information collected
during the competition will be used solely for organizing and managing the
event.
- Participants’ data will not be
shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
Liability:
- KSAPT 2025 organizers are not
responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants
during the competition.
- Participants are responsible
for ensuring their entries do not infringe on the rights of any third
party.
Amendments:
The organizers reserve the right
to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated
to participants through the official competition platform.
Prizes:
- The top three entries will be awarded prizes.
- The winners undertake to divide the prize among themselves, with no responsibility on the organizing committee.
- Winners will be recognized as
champions of change and showcased during KSAPT 2025.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives.
Acceptance
of Terms:
By participating, participants
agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the
organizers. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
