Participants can submit artwork, videos, or digital media to raise awareness about the dangers of performance-enhancing drugs and inspire ethical choices.
Apply NowArab Toxicology Competition
The Interactive Toxicology Competition was first launched
in 2021 during the 2nd International Conference on Toxicology
and Pharmacology as a national initiative aimed at healthcare students. It introduced a pioneering
concept that promotes scientific collaboration and emphasizes the importance of consultation and
reaching sound, evidence-based decisions. Each participating university is represented by a multidisciplinary
team comprising students from the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Medical Sciences
(Laboratory specialization), who work together to reach the finals and achieve a joint victory on behalf
of their institution.
Initially launched with the participation of nine Saudi universities, the competition rapidly expanded to
a regional level. In 2022, it included 25 universities across the Arab world through collaboration with the
Association of Arab Universities. By 2024, the number of participating universities grew to 50, and the
event evolved to include simulations, case studies, hands-on workshops, and expert-led discussions—
further establishing itself as a leading platform for toxicology education and a model for effective
teamwork in the medical field.
